A: CCASTAA stands for Cameroon College of Arts, Science and Technology Alumni Association (CCASTAA) and is the official ex-student association for all past graduates of CCAST Bambili around the globe, launched on August 11, 2011 and has been officially endorsed by CCAST Administration. A: CCASTAA was created and is currently being driven by a group of CCAST Alumni who are passionate about creating a global platform to bring all batches together under a common identity to support each other and give back to CCAST
A: CCASTAA has a dual mission to Support its members professionally (e.g., career networking) and socio economically (e.g., life changing events); and support CCAST Bambili to continue its mission of educating the next generation. It’s an opportunity to connect with classmates, to give back to an institution that has given so much to each and everyone of us.
A: Joining CCASTAA is simple, you need to have attended or graduated from CCAST, see constitution for more details (add link to constitution). You can sign up from this website by following this link (add membership link). Your application will be reviewed and you’ll get an email confirmation.
A: CCASTAA is currently organized by chapters and batches. Chapters and batches continue to run autonomously but are integrated together under a single CCASTAA identity (e.g., logos, common website, executing projects in CCAST, etc.). Review the constitution to see make up of Board of Directors, representation of batches etc. (add link to constitution)
A: Because we believe there is strength in numbers. As a global organization, we’ll be able to pool resources together, build a bigger network, engage the CCAST Administration as a single Alumni, limit the duplication of efforts (e.g., multiple websites, executing overlapping projects, etc.) and much more. After joining CCASTAA, you’ll continue to run your batch like before. See the constitution with details of what the relationship looks like
A: A one time registration fee of $10 is required to join and annual dues of $20 is paid to your chapter. A portion of the dues will be shared with CCASTAA global so that it can be used to run the affairs of the organization
