Today, the umbrella Alumni Association for CCAST Bambili (CCASTAA) successfully executed its annual “CCASTAA Scholarship” project for the 2021/2022 Academic year on the campus of CCAST Bambili. The event was attended by ~ 900 students and staff and saw the award of financial prizes and certificates to 29 students (top 3 academic performing students in each class from Form I to Upper Sixth).
The CCASTAA Scholarship project was started in 2016 to recognize the top academic performing students in each class and instill the pursuit of excellence in students. Due to the insecurity in the North West and South West Regions, it was put on hold until this year. Going forward, the Scholarship project will be held every year with plans to expand it (e.g., recognize teachers, provide needs based scholarship).
A big thank you goes to the Principal (and his staff), all our donors, the entire CCASTAA team (especially those on the ground) who made this occasion possible.
